This USB to DisplayPort 4K adapter helps you transmit digital audio and 4K video from your tablet, laptop, Chromebook, MacBook, smartphone or PC to a DisplayPort-enabled television, monitor or projector. It's an ideal tool for giving video presentations in conference rooms and classrooms, editing multiple documents on a larger screen, or streaming video in crystal-clear 4K.

Supports USB DisplayPort Alternate Mode for Transmitting Video Signals

With a source device that also supports USB DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can extend video from your primary display to another, duplicate the same video on both displays, or change the second display to your primary.

Transmits Crystal-Clear 4K DisplayPort Video and Digital Audio

To send digital audio and Ultra High Definition video to a 4K-ready DisplayPort television, projector or monitor, connect the DisplayPort port to the display using a DisplayPort cable (sold separately). The USB to DisplayPort 4K adapter supports video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 60 Hz, as well as 24-bit Deep Color (8 bits per channel) and 7.1-channel surround sound.

Built-In USB-C Cable Connects in Either Direction

Connect the reversible USB-C plug to your source device's USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. The fumble-free USB-C plug connects in either direction to ensure fast, easy connection every time.

Ready to Use Right Out of the Package

The plug-and-play USB-C to DP adapter is specifically designed for use with the MacBook, Google Chromebook Pixel and all other laptops, tablets and devices equipped with a female USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. It requires no software, drivers or external power. It's about half the size of a credit card, making it easy to carry in a pocket, briefcase or laptop bag for connecting on the go.
